Through this new component, Journées de la culture aims to celebrate cultural heritage. Each edition will put forward a personality or an element of the priceless heritage bequeathed to us by the creators of yesterday and which defines the genetic code of our cultural identity.

The year 2023 will mark the centenary of the birth of the most famous Canadian painter in the world: Jean Paul Riopelle. At the invitation of the Riopelle Foundation, the 2022 back-to-school and cultural season will kick off celebrations across the country!

The section offers activities related to the themes and subjects addressed by the painter, or inspired by his creation, his career or his universe.
