Highlighting creativity and originality across Quebec!

Three days of collaborative activities to raise public awareness of the importance of the arts and culture.

If you are a professional artist, a craftsperson, a cultural worker, a person active in an organization, an elected official or employee of a municipality, a person involved in education, or a company owner or employee, you are invited to participate in the Journées de la culture by organizing activities.

► Spotlight on cultural heritage

On the spectrum from tradition to innovation, there are a thousand and one ways to discover, enhance and celebrate cultural heritage. You are free to use the theme of the 21st edition as your inspiration.

► Our partners increase cultural awareness !

Are you planning to create an artwork that involves a number of people or voices ?
One of the #MomentsLaCoop activities of the La Coop fédérée cooperative organization is to gather creative proposals in all artistic disciplines that involve people working together on a cooperative or group basis. If you would like to be part of these activities, invite your colleagues or members of the public to participate with you in the creation of a work of art that everyone will be proud of !

Are you turned on by digital technology?

The Bell Digital Component will present activities in which the arts and culture are made larger than life through new technologies. Whether or not digital technology is at the core of what you do, it will perhaps inspire you to get involved in an amazing collaborative project!

In 2016, 1,336 organizers in 365 municipalities in Quebec’s 17 regions participated in the Journées de la culture. This year, be one of them!
