A taste for culture

For 13 years now, Les Journées de la culture have been held throughout Quebec to highlight the importance of making culture and the arts accessible to everyone.

It’s a cause embraced by an ever-growing number of artists and cultural organizations, thousands of whom have developed activities to make this year’s event a magnificent feast for one and all.

On the menu are more than 2,200 activities offering a glimpse into a cornucopia of creative processes and cultural practices. You can dig in for some hands-on experience, contemplate the works spread out before you or marvel at masterful performances during Les Journées de la culture. It’s a veritable cultural buffet for you to pick and choose from.

But why not indulge yourselves? It’s all good for the body, mind and soul!

I would like to thank all our partners who loyally support the mission of Les Journées de la culture, particularly the Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine and the Ministère des Affaires municipales, des Régions et de l’Occupation du territoire, as well as our corporate partners Hydro-Québec and TD Canada Trust.
